Benjamin “Benny” Marshall (1921–1988)
Benny Marshall was a beloved pillar of Baileys Crossroads, VA—a man defined by service, family, and simple joys. Born in Fairfax County as one of thirteen children, he served his country in the U.S. Military and spent more than forty years in dedicated federal service.
He shared over fifty years of marriage with his wife, Doris, raising six children and building a legacy that now spans generations. Benny lived by three principles: work hard, take care of others, and enjoy the life you live.
In retirement, he was often found beneath the big oak tree in his front yard, enjoying an El Producto cigar, a glass of Old Grand-Dad bourbon, and the company of loved ones. His warmth made everyone feel at home.
Benny’s Cigar Lounge was created in his honor—to carry forward the spirit he embodied: good company, good stories, and a life well enjoyed.
